Smoking is Dangerous

Smoking cigarettes should be a thing of the past. It is a very expensive, unhealthy, damaging, and addicting habit. Smoking can have serious negative effects on one’s body, it can cause lung cancer and increase the risk for heart disease while putting a huge dent in the wallet of most of those choosing to smoke. Cigarettes are a concoction of various chemicals that you wouldn’t normally be okay with ingesting, along with nicotine, and are rolled up into a stick shape, then placed into a box, about the size of a deck of cars, for one’s convenience.  Awareness should be brought to this topic because not only are cigarettes bad for people, but also for the environment and surrounding people. Seconding hand smoke is a very real and serious issue entangled with cigarette smokers. Not only is it an objectively disgusting smell, but it might be unintentionally hurting friends, family, and children when they breathe in the smoke.
