The coronavirus pandemic, which began in March 2020, had left the world in distress. Between businesses, gyms, and restaurants shutting down and even closing their doors permanently, the youngest of our population just might be struggling the most. School-aged children were forced to take their education online in order to slow the spread of COVID-19. At first glimpse, this was a gift and much-needed break for students, who wouldn’t want a break from school and get to stay home all day, but that got old relatively quickly.  While parents that were working from home or just stay-at-home parents, quickly realized how appreciative they were of school teachers.  A home environment can be very distracting while trying to learn via zoom or google classroom. Background noises, dogs barking, and restlessness are all real issues that students have to cope with while attending an online class. Smoking is Dangerous

Smoking cigarettes should be a thing of the past. It is a very expensive, unhealthy, damaging, and addicting habit. Smoking can have serious negative effects on one’s body, it can cause lung cancer and increase the risk for heart disease while putting a huge dent in the wallet of most of those choosing to smoke. Cigarettes are a concoction of various chemicals that you wouldn’t normally be okay with ingesting, along with nicotine, and are rolled up into a stick shape, then placed into a box, about the size of a deck of cars, for one’s convenience.  Awareness should be brought to this topic because not only are cigarettes bad for people, but also for the environment and surrounding people. Seconding hand smoke is a very real and serious issue entangled with cigarette smokers. Not only is it an objectively disgusting smell, but it might be unintentionally hurting friends, family, and children when they breathe in the smoke. Resume Revamp

A resume is the first impression that future interviewers and employers have of you. When creating a resume, one needs to really sell themself. A resume should contain contact information such as name, email address, and phone number. Following that should be your work experience, skills, and education. Some resumes have a small profile area or about me area, this gives the employer a little idea of who you are, your work ethic, and what you are looking for. These are just some standard things that resumes have but each resume is different.  It's a good idea to keep a resume fresh, keep your listed work experience up to date, and refine your list of skills. As seen in the thumbnails above, many resumes are divided into two sections. The left half contains a name and contact information, sometimes the list of skills can go there too.
